German skate punks Skeetch are ramping up to the release of their debut LP Sunny Side of Shitty Town, due out August 22nd on Punkerton Records, Punk Rock Radar, and Cat’s Claw Records. We’re stoked to bring you the exclusive premiere of the music video for the band’s brand new single “Sunny Side”! Check it out below and keep your eyes on their socials for album pre-orders and other bad ass shit.
Skeetch says: “Sunny Side” is our not-so-cheesy love song — whether you see it as about a relationship, a friendship, or however you choose to interpret it. It’s a reminder that even when life sucks — sometimes, or even most of the time — it’s worth appreciating the little things. It’s about finding and embracing the sunny side of whatever situation you’re in.”
This premiere is brought to you in part by Punk Rock Radar. If you’d like your band’s music video, song, album or whatever to be premiered by Dying Scene and Punk Rock Radar, go here and follow these instructions. You’ll be on your way to previously unimagined levels of fame and fortune in no time!

Chicago’s own Edging opened the show with an equal amount of fun and fury. Just like Die Spitz, you can count on Edging to become a legendary punk band to bless your city by playing there.
Already having opened for Amyl and the Sniffers, this fall they will be touring with one of my all time favorite bands, Lambrini Girls (so excited!).
I love it when I see female bands conquer the scene.
Die Spitz was first formed in 2022 in Austin, TX and released their first EP, The Revenge of Evangeline, in the same year. Their follow up EP, Teeth, was released in 2023 and won Austin Music Awards’ Album of the Year. They also recently signed with Third Man Records with plans to release their debut LP with them later this year.
Die Spitz live is a totally rowdy and wild experience, complete with band members crowd surfing and audience participation. At one point they called for all girls to the front and on stage; you can tell they thoroughly enjoy what they are doing and put their all into every moment.
For a band that has not been in the scene for very long they are very quickly, and well deservedly, making a name for themselves.

A jam party brought Vanessa Tignanelli, Holly Cunningham, and Linds Sullivan together to form Peach Pact in 2018 and the North Bay, Ontario-based trio has been kicking out excellent grunge-infused punk rock ever since. The band's incredible energy is captured perfectly on their debut album Die Hydrated which was recorded live off the floor at Sudbury’s Deadpan Studios. The nine tracks fly by in a flurry of driving rhythms, dynamic riffs, superb melodies, and powerful vocals. The band’s songwriting prowess is on full display as they explore what it means to stay hydrated in a society that only seeks to drain, tear into societal expectations, discuss the ongoing fight for bodily autonomy, and highlight the importance of community with cathartic lyrics that are impossible not to sing along to. Die Hydrated will be out everywhere on June 13. You can pre-order the album here and here or you can pre-save the album right here. Peach Pact will be playing their album release show in September. Punknews editor Em Moore caught up with bassist and lead vocalist Vanessa, drummer Holly, and guitarist and backing vocalist Linds to talk about the album, taking inspiration from the desert, what it means to be truly hydrated, creating community, and so much more. Read the interview below! This interview between Em Moore, Vanessa Tignanelli, Holly Cunningham, and Linds Sullivan took place in May 2025 via Zoom. What follows is a transcription of their conversation that has been lightly edited for length and clarity.

As PINKLIDS continue to write their first chapter — which we might title “launching one of the best damn new rock bands” — the Wareham group is looking back to frontwoman Amber Lawson’s teenage years. Specifically, a portion of Raymond Carver’s 1981 book What We Talk About When We Talk About Love called “Sacks.” The slice of Carver’s short story collection is the basis of PINKLIDS’ new tune “SAX,” a frenetic but more stylistically straightforward addition to their petite catalog. Motorhead have released a video for "Leaving Here." This particular cut of the song is taken from The Manticore Tapes, which is an hereto unreleased session where the band was working on what would be their first album in 1976. In 1979, On Parole was released. On Parole was comprised of recordings taken from the band's aborted first sessions for the first album, which occurred in 1975, before the Manticore sessions. The band's "true" first album, Motorhead was recorded in 1977 after the Manticore sessions. All three Lps have most of the same songs. The mian difference between On Parole and subsequent attempts at the band's first album is that On Parole has Larry Wallis of Pink Fairies on guitar, while the other releases have classic Motorhead member Fast Eddie Clarke. The lineup on the Manticore recordings are Lemmy (bass/vocals), Fast Eddie Clarke (guitar) and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor (drums). The album is out June 27 and you can check out the video below.

If you’re looking for a perspective to help you feel better about the chaos you’re seeing every day, chances are Jordan Klepper isn’t your guy. However, he’s coming to town to at least let us know that we’re not alone in how we’re feeling. As announced earlier this week, the Daily Show vet will be making his way to The Wilbur on November 2 for the first time to unleash his new show, Suffering Fools, on a Boston audience. Klepper’s […]
