Frankie and the Witch Fingers to release new album, share "Economy"

Los Angeles-based Frankie and the Witch Fingers have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Trash Classic and will be out on June 6 via The Reverberation Appreciation Society / Greenway Records. The band has also released their first single from the record called “Economy”. Frankie and the Witch Fingers released their live album Live at LEVITATION in 2024 and released their album Data Doom in 2023. Check out the song and tracklist below.

Tours: Sunny Day Real Estate to tour North America

Sunny Day Real Estate have announced that they will be touring North America this spring. The tour will begin on May 28 in Montreal and will wrap up on September 24 in Vancouver. The band will be playing tracks from across their entire catalog. Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 14 but pre-sales will be taking place on March 12 and 13. Chicago-based Babe Report has released a new song. It is called “DIY2K” and is available digitally via Exploding In Sound Records. Babe Report will be touring the US and Canada starting on Saturday and released their album Did You Get Better in 2024. Check out the song and dates below.

Social Distortion cancel European tour

This story has been updated.Social Distortion have announced the cancellation of their upcoming European tour. The tour was supposed to start on April 2 and run until April 26. The band announced the cancellation of the tour in an Instagram post which reads, ”Due to unforeseen production delays with our forthcoming album, we regret to announce that Social Distortion’s upcoming European tour has been canceled. We sincerely apologize to our fans and appreciate your patience as we focus on finishing the record. Ticket holders can seek refunds at their original point of purchase.” The band shared a follow-up post on Instagram a few hours after their initial post which reads,Just wanted to follow up news of April European tour cancellation. I apologize to all who have been disappointed and inconvenienced by this. I feel it needs a contextual explanation. Due to the health issue which began April ‘23, this put EVERYTHING to a complete halt for an entire year. We were halfway done w record. In ‘24 we had reschedule two huge American tours which had to be postponed until I had a clean bill of health. “If I had a clean bill of health. “Throughout this, we’ve had to get back in studio to finish this album working producer, engineer’s schedules. Everyone is playing catch up. I can’t tell you how hard I’m working on all fronts to bring you this long awaited album. Please bear with us. Tours: Suicide Machines announce Mexico and Costa Rica shows

The Suicide Machines have announced tour dates for Mexico and Costa Rica. The shows will take place in May with the run starting on May 8 in Mexicali, Mexico, and wrapping up on May 11 in San Jose, Costa Rica. This will be the band’s first time playing in Costa Rica. Suicide Machines will be touring the US with Less Than Jake in the summer and released their album Revolution Spring in 2020. Check out the dates below.

Los Angeles-based Provoker have announced that they will be releasing their third album. It is called Mausoleum and will be out on May 9 via YEAR0001. The band has also released a video for their new song “Another Boy” which was directed by Andrea Riba. Provoker released the deluxe version of their album Demon Compass in 2024. Record Setter to release new EP, share "peace in a memory"

Denton, Texas-based Record Setter has announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Evoke Invoke and will be out on April 4. The band has also released a visualizer for the first single from the EP, “peace in a memory” which was created by Jacob Mitchell.
