Exclusive Videos: Watch the new video by Bad Mary!

Today we are stoked to bring you the premiere of the new video by New York punk rockers Bad Mary! The video is for their song “Want What I Want” and was directed by guitarist David Henderson. Speaking about the song and video, David said, "Well, the song is about doing your own thing and not caring what people think – and something we always wanted to do was tour Japan, and we were lucky enough to put together two tours there. Also, of course, I wanted something fun that would evoke the energy and vibe of the song – so I used a bunch of video clips from our gigs over in Tokyo. The whole scene and all the bands there were so welcoming and just fantastic – so this video was a way of showcasing that and sharing that energy and love. Live life, be kind, and have fun.” ”Want What I Want” is off Bad Mary’s split with Mega Infinity, The Mega Bad Disaster Party, which is out now via Ska Punk International. Watch the video for “Want What I Want” below!

Damndest deliver polar post-punk on new EP ‘No, besides’

This fine, freezing January won’t congeal Damndest’s rock vortex. The Boston band this past Friday (January 24) unleashed new EP No, besides, a roiling two-track project that evokes tumult even in its more meditative moments. EP opener “Until You’re Free” ducks into a melee of post-punk guitar riffs from 00:01, while accompanying track “Nesting Doll,” stretches the release’s mesmeric quality into a period of reflection. Presented together, No, besides, is a proper post-punk kick in the pants, set against a […]

The Murder Capital brace for ‘The Fall’ that awaits us all

“I can’t be told, I can’t be dressed, I can’t be held, I can’t be fed, I can’t be whipped.” That’s James McGovern breathlessly and brazenly in The Murder Capital’s new powderkeg tune “The Fall,” the Irish post-punk luminaries’ first new music of 2025 and the latest chapter from their forthcoming third album Blindness. The new record is out February 21, and we’ve already absorbed a pair of Fall ’24 tracks, like the neon grayscale glow of “Can’t Pretend To Know” […]
