Interviews: Tahlena and Mike of Bite Me Bambi talk their new record 'Eat This'

Since their formation in Southern California in 2018 Bite Me Bambi have been kicking out an infectious mix of ska and pop-punk. They bring their songs to life with incredibly energetic live shows, creative music videos, and excellent production which can be heard on their 2020 debut EP Hurry Up and Wait as well as on their upcoming record Eat This. From start to finish Eat This is an explosion of creativity that finds Bite Me Bambi truly coming into their own. The band pulls no punches as they celebrate being themselves and take a deep dive into love and relationships with exceedingly danceable arrangements and lyrics that are full of bite. Exclusive Videos: Watch the new video by Tea Eater!

Today we are extremely excited to bring you the premiere of the new video by Brooklyn-based garage rockers Tea Eater! The video is for their new song “Little White Dog (in a Gated Community)” and was shot and edited by Emily Hughston Hoffman. Speaking to Punknews about the song and video, vocalist and guitarist Tarra Thiessen (who also plays in Gustaf and Sharkmuffin), said, "Little White Dog (in a Gated Community)" is a song about being reincarnated as a little white dog in a gated community. The verses describe the void between lives when you have to “push your face up,” or release your old identity, empty your “spiritual batter,” or the memory of your previous life, and pick a new “soul container,” in this case the container of a little white dog in a gated community. The moral is to not be ashamed of whatever life phase you’re in right now, regardless of how silly or serious it might feel. The song was inspired by the 100 little white dogs that live in the New Jersey gated community where my mom and grandma live. My friend Emily Hughston Hoffman filmed the music video in this gated community on a sunny 25-degree day in January with the idea that the little white dog is on a psychedelic trip and is reminding themselves that they are a little white dog in a gated community so they don't completely lose grip on reality.”“Little White Dog (in a Gated Community)” will be out everywhere on February 14 and is Tea Eater’s second single from their upcoming album I Don’t Believe in Bad Luck. The album will be out on March 28 and you can pre-order it right here. Watch the video below!

Call Your Dad: ‘The Accountant 2’ exists, and it has a trailer

You’d be forgiven for thinking that Gavin O’Connor’s The Accountant already has, like, eight sequels — seriously, The Equalizer movies and four or five of the John Wick-likes just sort of blend together at some point — but you’d be wrong. Nine years after we were first introduced to Ben Affleck’s autistic, badass numbers-cruncher, we’re finally getting The Accountant 2 from Amazon/MGM, which is delightful and perhaps ill-advised (between this and The Predator, the late ’10s were a golden age […]

‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Review: A ‘Winter Soldier’ re-run

Kevin Feige’s spent the last few years immersed in nostalgia — that’s what lies at the heart of the MCU’s “Multiverse Saga,” but starting off the post-Endgame phase with Black Widow should have signaled which way the winds were blowing even before Kang the Conquerer came and went — and it’s understandable why. Most of his attempts to move the cinematic universe into a new era haven’t been particularly good or well-received (Eternals), and the ones that have proven to […]

Listen to the new song by ChumHuffer!

Today we are thrilled to bring you the premiere of the new song by New York-based hardcore punks ChumHuffer! The song is called “Slaughterhouse” and is off their upcoming Kurt Vonnegut-inspired EP Slaughterhouse Five. Vocalist and guitarist Joe Dorane had this to say about the EP, ”When you zoom out on planet Earth and see the endless, everyday conflicts, it’s hard not to feel completely overwhelmed—which makes you zoom back into your own brain, only to find it’s just as much of a mess. This record is an attempt to deal with those feelings. It’s both a reflection on and a protest against the relentless cycle of violence. ‘So it goes’.”Shawn Refuse added, “With the weirdness and confusion that is today, Slaughterhouse Five represents the feeling of not knowing what is real and what is made up. All while trying to navigate through our lives and keep moving forward. Do we listen to the voices in our heads or believe what we see? Or is it all just PTSD.””Slaughterhouse” will hit streaming on February 13. Slaughterhouse Five will be out everywhere in May. Listen to the song below!
