Listen to High Home's debut album and read a track-by-track breakdown!

Today, we are extremely excited to bring you the premiere of the debut album by Toronto punk rockers High Home! The album is called Someday, I’ll be Gone and features ten tracks that have been ten years in the making. The artwork for the album was created by Andie Sabarillo. Speaking about the album, the band, made up of Bry Brocoy and Aimee Furukawa, said, Someday, I’ll Be Gone is a coming-of-age record, ten years too late. It’s a record about fleeting time, faded memories, and the impermanence of everything. It’s a decade of lives lived with dingy bars, borrowed smokes, and crumbling relationships. And it’s a reminder that nothing lasts forever, no matter how tightly you hold on to it.” We also caught up with Bry to hear the stories behind each of the tracks on Someday, I’ll Be Gone. High Home will be playing their album release show at Collective Arts in Toronto on April 17 with Forty Seven Teeth, Early Heaven, and In Framings. Someday, I’ll Be Gone will be out everywhere on March 31. Listen to the album and read the track-by-track breakdown below!

In Memoriam: Ross "The Boss" Friedman has passed away

Ross “The Boss” Friedman of The Dictators and Manowar has passed away. He was 72 and passed away on March 26 after a battle with ALS. He revealed his diagnosis in February. His passing was announced in an Instagram post which reads, ”It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the Bronx’ own Ross “The Boss,” Friedman who died last night after battling ALS. A legendary guitarist and beloved father, his music and spirit impacted fans around the world as much as you impacted him. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support you all have shown throughout his career and especially these last few months. His music meant everything to him & his guitar was his life’s breath. This insidious disease took that away from him. His legacy with The Dictators, Manowar, Ross the Boss Band and other collabs will live on forever in our hearts and ears.” Along with the Dictators and Manowar, Ross The Boss also played with Shakin’ Street, Manitoba’s Wild Kingdom, Heyday, The Hellacopters, The Nomads, Majesty, The Brain Surgeons, and his eponymous solo project, among others. We send our condolences to Ross “The Boss” Friedman’s family, friends, and fans.
