Faith No More and System of a Down have announced four shows for winter 2027. The bands will be playing in Australia and New Zealand, with the run of shows set to begin on January 22 in Sydney and wrap up on February 7 in Wellington. These mark Faith No More’s first live shows in over a decade. Check out the dates below.
Glenn Danzig is now working on his third feature-length film. Hellmask is based off the comic series produced via Danzig's comic book company Verotik. The movie is out in 2027. You can see the official announcement below.
Harrison Gordon have released a video for their new song “Like Me Less”. The video was directed by Tades Sanville of Hot Mulligan and Alex Scalzo-Brown. The Paradox have announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Proceed With Caution and will be out on October 2. The EP features their previously released single “Good For Me” which came out earlier this year. The band has also released a video for their new song “I Kinda Like That”. Loud Women has announced the lineup for their upcoming festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Alanna Matty, Altered by Mom, Amygdala Hijack, Burry, Freya Milliken, Penny and the Pits, SALTLAMP, Shoulder Season, Warlet, and We, Cassie will be playing the festival. Loud Women Fest Halifax will take place on October 24 at the Seahorse Tavern.
Protomartyr have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Hotel Usona and will be out on September 25 via Domino. The band has also released a video for their new song “Sounds We Cannot Hear” which was directed by Danny Scharar and Harris Mayersohn. Protomartyr released their album Formal Growth in the Desert in 2023. Check out the video and tracklist below.
Project Nowhere have added more bands and artists to this year’s festival. Bibi Club, Hot Garbage, Sunglaciers, Heaven For Real, Sunforger, SO TIRED, Leona Hell, Mother Tongues, Korea Town Acid, Tropa Magica, Index, Lee Paradise, and LICE are among the new additions to the festival. They join the previously announced lineup which includes Death, US Girls, A Place to Bury Strangers, Upchuck, Mulch, Willow Switch, and Piper Maru. Project Nowhere takes place October 1-3, 2026 in Toronto, Ontario across multiple venues including Mod Club, Hank’s Liquor, St. Anne’s Parish, Houndstooth, The Garrison, Bambi’s, The Baby G, and BSMT 254.
Honey Revenge have released a video for their new song “Sunday Scaries". The video was directed by Grace Stromatt and edited by Fernanda Vega. The song is off their upcoming album Loving and Losing which will be out on September 18 via Thriller Records. Honey Revenge released the extended version of their 2023 album Retrovision in 2024. Sadly, Lou Koller of Sick of it All has passed away. The band stated, in part: "this year would have marked Sick of it All’s 40th anniversary as a band, and Lou’s camaraderie, commitment and enthusiasm were always steadfast throughout the years. We have lost a beloved friend and an iconic frontman." Koller had been battling cancer for some time. While the cancer had subsided for a while, it returned in 2025 with Koller stating that the battle was at "a stalemate." You can see the band's full statement below.
