Ironically, MAGA "fans" showed up at Circle Jerks last Las Vegas stop on Sunday, which would have been Punk Rock Bowling weekend, had it occurred this year. During the set, two men who were in the front by the barricade. One of the men had a Circle Jerks record and wanted Keith to strop the show so Keith could sign the record. When Keith did not stop the show, one of them men called Keith a "turncoat" and criticized political comments that Keith made earlier on in the night. Keith then responded directly to the hecklers in a classic Keith Morris soliloquy. He stated, in part, "“I’m a traitor? Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Fuck you! I vote in every election and I always vote for the least stinkiest piece of shit. So, you’re not here for my political bullshit, you’re here for the music. Do you f–king understand our f–king lyrics? Do you understand what we’re singing about? Do you fucking understand here that I think that I think fucking Donald Trump is the biggest piece of shit that ever walked upon the fucking earth? Are you fucking Nazis? Are you fucking fascists? Well here’s the deal, gentlemen. You guys, First: I’m not signing your record. Second off, the next time we come to town, stay the fuck home. Riot Fest has announced the details of its 2026 installment. This year the shindig runs September 18 to 20 and is at Douglas Park in Chicago. The headliners are Tool, 21 Pilots, Pierce the Veil and Alanis Morisette. However, a bunch of punk and metal bands play as well: Iggy Pop, Bad Religion, Descendents, GWAR, Alkaline Trio, Social Distortion, Sex Pistols with Frank Carter, Public Image Limited, Pup,Sugar, Bratmobile, Less than jake, Brian fallon, The Chats, Guttermouth, Good Riddance, Nobro and more.Also playing are Patti Smith, Morrissey, Insane Clown Posse, and more. Zeta have announced that they will be releasing a new live album. The album is called Live In Boston: 10 Years of Resilience in the US and captures one of the band’s final performances in America with founding member Dani before he was forced to leave the country due to immigration complications. The album was recorded by Marcel Fernandez during their tour with RX Bandits and will be out on July 10 via Born Losers Records. The band has also released a video for the live version of their song “The Truth” which was directed by Gonz Veloz. Zeta will be touring Europe this summer with two US shows in the fall, including playing FEST in Gainesville in October. The band released their album Was It Medicine To You? in 2025. Big D and the Kids Table have released a video for their new song “Scatterbrain”. The video was produced by Empire Animate. The song is off their upcoming album The Good Ole American Saturday Night which will be out on June 12 via SideOneDummy Records. The band has also announced North American tour dates for this summer and fall. Matamoska will be joining them on all dates for the first leg of the tour which begins on August 27 in New York and wraps up on September 5 in Amherst, Massachusetts. Devon Kay and the Solutions will be joining them on all dates of the second leg of the tour which begins on October 15 in Waitsfield, Vermont and wraps up in Morgantown, West Virginia. Tom Morello has announced that he will be putting on a festival called Power to the People. Along with Tom Morello, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, Jack Black 9with Roman Morello, Revel Ian, Yoyoka Soma, and Hugo Weiss), Dropkick Murphys, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike, Serj Tankian of System of a Down, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless, The Linda Lindas, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Matt Cameron, Grandson, and The Neighborhood Kids will be playing the festival. Shepard Fairey will also be putting on a DJ set. Power to the People Festival will take place on October 3 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

Gas Station Boner Pills have released a video for their song “Keyboard Warrior”. The video was filmed by Mikhail Tot (who also directed and edited the video), Shilo Lorenz, and Marty Glynn. The song is off their recently released EP SIMPhony: First Movement which is the first part of their upcoming second album SIMPhony. The band will be releasing the album in four EPs (movements) in keeping with the symphony tradition before collecting them on their full album which will be out on October 20 via Jeff Town Records.
