On September 29, 2024 Bob Vylan played at the Velvet Underground in Toronto, Ontario. Jigsaw Youth opened the show. Bob Vylan released their album Humble As The Sun earlier this year. They are currently touring the US and Canada and will be touring Europe and the UK starting in late October. Our photographer Stephen McGill was there to catch all of the action. Manchester Punk Festival has announced more bands for 2025. Dillinger Four, Death By Stereo, Broadway Calls, Los Fastidios, Smoke or Fire, Pizzatramp, Captain Hotknives, In Evil Hour, Bruise Control, Straightline, Knife Club, Fair Do’s, Helle, Supermilk, Stress Positions, Redeemon, Forever Unclean, Simon Wells, Other Half, Happy Accidents, Sadaxe, X-Ray Vez, Misfortune Cookie, Anna’s Anchor, Our Lives in Cinema, No More Idols, Alldepends, Short Days, Filthy Militia, Glu, The Empty Page, Skint Knees, Abergaz, and Period Drama will now be playing the festival.These bands join the previously announced first-wave lineup which includes The Menzingers, Strung Out, Belvedere, The Sewer Cats, Single Mothers, The Chisel, Call Me Malcolm and many more. Manchester Punk Festival will take place across multiple venues (The Union, Gorilla, The Bread Shed, Yes, Zombie Shack, Rebellion, and Sandbar) in Manchester, UK on April 18-20.
Menzingers have two NYE shows. Both are in Ardmore, PA. December 30 is opened by Gladie and Crossed Keys. December 31 is opened by Captain We're Sinking and Wild Ones. You can see the details below.

St. Louis, Missouri-based rockers Lobby Boxer have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Head Shoulders Knuckles Floor and will be out on October 21 via Choke Artist. Punitive Damage have announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Hate Training and will be out on October 25 via Convulse Records. The band has also released a new song called “Baptism of Fire”. Punitive Damage will be playing a handful of shows starting in October and released their album This Is The Blackout in 2022. The OBGMs have announced that they will be releasing their third album. It is called Sorry, It’s Over and will be out on October 22. The album will feature the three songs they released earlier this year as part of their Your Friends Are Not Your Friends EP as well as their single “Buffalo” which was released last week.
