Blind Girls: "Loveless"

Blind Girls have released a new song called “Loveless”. The song is off their upcoming album An Exit Exists which will be out digitally on July 5 and physically on July 26 via Persistent Vision Records. Blind Girls will be touring Australia and North America starting later this month and released The Weight of Everything in 2022. Check out the song below.

Festivals & Events: METZ, Bad Egg, Alien Boys, more to play Moments Fest 2024

Moments Fest has announced their lineup for this year, METZ, No More Moments, 1876, Amy Nelson, Bad Egg, Toxic Fem, Quit It!, Ethereal Tomb, Alien Boys, Our Last Crusade, Iron Tusk, Tipless, and Space Queen will be playing the festival this year. Moments Fest takes place at the Siksika Pow Wow Arbor in the Siksika Nation in Alberta on August 30 – September 2.

Dwarves stream new record

Dwarves are streaming their new mini-LP, Keep it Reel. The physical version is out this summer via Greedy records. You can hear it below. The lp follows The Dwarves Concept Album from 2023.

Scrunchies announce new album, release video for "The Empire"

Scrunchies have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Colossal and will be out on August 23 via Learning Curve Records. The album was recorded and mixed by Steve Albini. The band has also released a video for their new song “The Empire” which was produced, edited, and animated by vocalist and guitarist Laura Larson. Scrunchies released their album Feral Coast in 2022. Check out the video below.

Indian Giver: "Purity"

Indigenous hardcore band Indian Giver have released a new song. It is called “Purity” and features Anishinabek hip hop artist Wiidaaseh. Indian Giver released their song “Soul Wound” earlier this year and have released a handful of singles between 2019-2022. Check out the song below.

Laura Jane Grace and The Mississippi Medicals: "All Fucked Out"

Laura Jane Grace and The Mississippi Medicals (Mikey Erg, Matt Patton, and Paris Campbell Grace) have released their debut single. It is called “All Fucked Out” and features artwork by Christopher Norris. The song is available digitally now. Laura Jane Grace and the Mississippi Medicals will be releasing their debut EP soon and will be touring the US with Catbite and Taylor Hollingsworth starting in September. If you’re watching on YouTube, even though the video just features harmless album art, you’ll need to sign in as it is deemed age-restricted because the word “fuck” appears in the title.
