Nails to release new album, share "Imposing Will"

Nails have announced that they will be releasing their first new album in eight years. It is called Every Bridge Burning and will be out on August 30 via Nuclear Blast. The lineup on this album is Todd Jones, Carlos Cruz, Andrew Solis, and Shelby Lermo. The band has also released a new song called “Imposing Will”. Nails released You Will Never Be One of Us in 2016. Videos: Factor Chandelier and Codefendants: "Without A Trace"

Canadian producer Factor Chandelier and Codefendants have teamed up on a new track. It is called “Without A Trace” and comes with a video that was shot at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach, California by Nik Hampshire. The song is off Factor Chandelier’s upcoming album Cold, Cold World which will be out on June 7. Check out the video below.

Subb release Mudie cover

Subb have released a cover of “Post-Pyong” by Mudie. The song is off Subb and Mudie’s upcoming split EP Cat Songs which finds the band paying tribute to Kim Shattuck of The Muffs by covering two of their tracks as well as covering one of each other’s songs. The EP will be out on June 21 via Thousand Island Records and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the EP will go to the ALS Foundation. Check out the song below.

Festivals & Events: UK Subs, Zero Boys, 999, more to play LA Punk Invasion 2025

LA Punk Invasion has announced its lineup for 2025. U.K. Subs, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, 999, Zero Boys, Lower Class Brats, The Virus, Dead Boys, Lion’s Law, Clit 45, Mess, The Voids, Beton Arme, Resilience, Still Pist, The Exploited, Major Accident, The Erections, The Unseen, and Cheap Sex are among the bands playing. LA Punk Invasion will take place on March 15, 2025 at The Belasco and Mayan theatres in Los Angeles. See the poster and full lineup below.

Chubby and the Gang sign to Flatspot Records

Chubby and The Gang have announced that they have signed to Flatspot Records. This was announced in an Instagram post which reads simply, ”Chubby and The Gang // Flatspot Records 2024” Chubby and the Gang released their EP Labour of Love in 2022 and their album The Mutt’s Nuts in 2021. Fucked Up to release new album, share "Stimming"

Fucked Up have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Another Day and will be out on August 9 via Fucked Up Records. The band has released a video for their first single “Stimming” which for some reason is marked as “age-restricted” on YouTube. Fucked Up will be touring North America starting in July and will be touring the UK in October. The band released their album One Day in 2023. Check out the video, tracklist, and tour dates below.  

FIDLAR announce new album, release two new tracks

FIDLAR have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Surviving The Dream and will be out on September 20. The band has also released two new songs “Get Off My Wave” and “Fix Me” which comes with a video co-directed by Ryan Baxley and Brandon Schwartzel. FIDLAR will be touring North America this fall. The band released their EP Don’t Fuck With Vol. 03 earlier this year and related their acoustic album unplug in 2023. Check out the songs, tracklist, and dates below.
