The Offspring‘s new record Supercharged has been announced and it’s due out on October 11th. There are a bunch of retailer exclusive color variants of varying degrees of limitedness (if that’s not a word it is now). Whether you wanna grab the Iceberg, Iridescent Blue, Purple & Red Swirl, or Sapphire color variant, you can find links to buy all of them right here. Punk Rock Karaoke’s got a new 7″ out now. Milo from the Descendents joins Greg Hetson (Circle Jerks, Bad Religion, etc.), Darrin Pfeiffer (ex-Goldfinger), Pennywise bassist Randy Bradbury, and Stan Lee from the Dickies to play some classic punk songs. The A Side’s got “Manny, Moe and Joe” by the Dickies and their take on Bad Brains’ “Pay to Cum” occupies the B Side. Get it on red vinyl (limited to 450 copies) right here.

TSOL announced their Darker My Love 12″ EP a few weeks ago and the first pressing promptly sold out. The good news for anyone who missed out is they’re doing a second pressing with two snazzy splatter color variants – Coke Bottle Clear & Red Splatter (100 copies) and Bone & Black Splatter (200 copies). The Darker My Love 12″ EP This includes the ultra-rare rerecording of their classic song “Darker My Love” which originally was featured in 1984’s Penelope Spheeris cult classic movie Suburbia. The next 3 songs have never never been released on vinyl which include an unreleased rerecorded 2004 version of the 2001 Anti Cop B side “White American”, as well as previously unreleased cover songs by The Damned (“Politics”) and Lou Reed (“Perfect Day”).

Interstellar pop-punk invaders Lookit, Martians! have a new record out this Wednesday, June 12th. The Great Cover Conspiracy features awesome covers of songs by the Monkees, Joan Jett, Elvis, Creedence Clearwater Revival & more plus some new original songs. It’s limited to 200 copies on three color variants: Galactic Midnight (black w/ green smoke), Alien Green (light green marble), and Martian Moss (dark green marble).

Pop-punk supergroup Semi-Famous will be releasing their debut LP Destroy Ourselves on July 26th. Starting as a fictitious band featured in longtime Screeching Weasel guitarist John “Jughead” Pierson’s 2001 book Weasels in a Box, the project has grown to feature Ryan Rockwell (Mixtapes), Poli van Dam (ex-The Bompops), Billy Brown (Crash & Burn, Ashers, The Unseen) & drummer Tyson Cornell of Scooby Don’t. The record was mastered by none other than Mass Giorgini and features artwork by Lookout! Records cofounder, prolific artist Christopher Appelgren. Get it on yellow and/or black wax right here. “The intention from the beginning was to take the fictional band of Semi-Famous out of my book Weasels In A Box, and to record some songs under that name for the audiobook release. We had so much fun writing in a form that most of us had not been engaging in for years so we decided to write more. But the thing that happened is, even though still influenced by Screeching Weasel, the songs took on their own life. I have high regard for the songs written by Ben Weasel and Dan Vapid, and I have always stayed away from trying to sound like them. I don’t have the vocal talent of Vapid, or the humorous darkness of Ben, so it made sense that Ryan and my emulation of that time period would sound different from the originals. Semi-Famous’ music will continue to be inspired by that music and the music’s multiple time periods but, especially with the writing of Poli van Dam and inspiration of Billy Brown, our sound will continue to grow in exciting new directions.” -John “Jughead” Pierson

Boston hardcore legends SS Decontrol’s 1983 Get It Away EP is being reissued for the first time in over 40 years and Trust Records is doing it big with close to a dozen unique color variants. As always, these are exclusive to different retailers / distros all over the continental United States as well as some parts of the rest of the word.
