Los Angeles ska-punk three piece Rundown Kreeps release their new single “FC” tomorrow, but ya boys at Dying Scene are hooking it up as always with an exclusive premiere a whole ass fuckin’ day early! Check out the music video below and pre-save the single on Spotify while you’re at it.

Here’s some background on the track from the band:

“FC” is a showcase of high energy punk rock, exploratory ideas, and subcultural guitar virtuosity. Lyrically the song discusses centering in on the perception of reality while acknowledging the possibility of universal contrast. Is reality a byproduct of the human experience; or is the human experience the consequence of reality? With this latest single we returned to where it all began. That blend of Punk, Psychobilly, and vivacity that shrieked through our amps.

By the way, these guys have been around since 2009, so if this is your introduction to Rundown Kreeps (as it was mine) you’ve got quite a bit of catching up to do! I recommend checking out the band’s back catalog on Spotify, starting with their 2022 full-length album. And follow them on their socials for more to come!

Illinois bands come together and put on a true punk show with a matinee showing at the Cobra Lounge. Bands played their best songs, showed off their best jumps, and some played their last gig. Fans sang and danced hard at this all age show! We need more shows like this.

Conservative Military Image is no stranger to Chicago’s hardcore punk scene. The fans felt their amazing energy and took it to the floor. Find them here.

No Friend of Mine is a straight edge band also from Chicago, they did not disappoint.

Springfield’s own Oi! band No Guard performed a great show. They will have you dancing the floor and doing high kicks. Be sure to follow them.

Home Invasion is a straight edge hardcore band from Chicago. They just released Enemy in May, give it a listen. Give them a follow as well.
