System of A Down and Deftones to play show together

System of a Down and Deftones have teamed up for a one-off show in San Francisco. The show will take place on August 17 at Golden Gate Park with The Mars Volta, Viagra Boys, and Vowws playing support. Tickets go on sale on April 12.

Videos: METZ: "Superoir Mirage"

METZ have released a video for their new song “Superior Mirage”. The video was directed and edited by John Andrews. The song is off their upcoming album Up On Gravity Hill which will be out on April 12 via Sub Pop Records and Dine Alone Records. METZ will be touring North America and Europe this spring and fall. Me First and The Gimme Gimmes have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Me First and The Gimme Gimmes Blow It…at Madison’s Quinceanera and will be out on June 14 via Fat Wreck Chords. The band has also released their first single which is a cover of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”. Me First and The Gimme Gimmes will be touring North America starting later this week and touring Europe starting in June. Check out the song and tracklist below.

Tours: Kathleen Hanna announces moderators for upcoming US book tour

Kathleen Hanna has announced the lineup of moderators for her upcoming US book tour. Molly Ringwald, Amy Poehler, Hanif Abdurraqib, Lindy West, Brontez Purnell, Puja Patel, Mira Jacob, Fabi Reyna, Imani Perry, Hari Kondabalou will be moderating at select dates. One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to Peace Sisters, a non-profit that helps girls access education in Togo, West Africa. Kathleen Hanna will be releasing her memoir Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk on May 14 via Ecco. See the updated dates below.

Virginity announce new album, share two new tracks

Florida-based punk rockers Virginity have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Bad Jazz and will be out on June 28 via Smartpunk Records. The band has also released two new tracks called “Midweekend” and “Swinging South”. Virginity released their album POPMORTEM in 2021. Check out the songs and tracklist below.

Integrity release live album from 2014 reunion

In 2014, Integrity played the 10th annual A389 bash. The show was notable as it found Integrity founder, Dwid Hellion, reuniting with early/classic era members Aaron Melnick, Leon Melnick, Chris Smith, and Mark Konopka.
