Naked Aggression drop off Punk in the Park Fest due to Trump donations

Naked Aggression was scheduled to play one of the upcoming Punk in the Park road show dates. However, the band has dropped off the lineup. Asthma Kids: "Our Demands Are Non-Negotiable”

Asthma Kids have released a video for their song “Our Demands Are Non-Negotiable”. The video was directed and choreographed by Visuale Dance Crew out of Venezuela. Speaking about the video, Trevor said, "The idea of a video came about as a thought experiment. How could I get a video/song in my 15-year-old daughter's algorithm (she doesn't listen to/watch punk)? She's into hip-hop dance, so the absolutely ridiculous idea of a dance video to one of our overtly political songs took hold. Jump ahead a couple weeks, and I was having problems trying to promote another lyric idea from our EP — I'm assuming because lyrics made fun of Tesla, crypto, and had the words 'fascist fuck', but who knows. I found a Venezuelan woman-owned choreographer/production company that did custom dance videos. I reached out, made the deal. I provided our logo and complete creative freedom. The result was weird. I was worried that it would look like we were being exploitative, or worse. I know our politics, which we live, but we are white, hetero, CIS. We have privilege. Something may be ironic to us. But our privilege may blind us sometimes. I'm lucky to be surrounded by hardcore feminists in my life. So I reached out to get their opinion. They like it, so we decided to release the video. It still makes me laugh. Nothing like the moody art pieces of our first two videos from this EP. It looks like a TikTok piece, which was the original idea, but I can't get myself to do TikTok – yet. So it is what it is. I doubt I'd do it again. Too much second-guessing on stuff that I'll never be qualified to judge. But trying to do something that no one else has done before is a fun exercise because that's so hard to do. Thankfully, I'm disabled. So I won't have the disappointment of not being able to learn these sweet dance moves."The song is off Asthma Kids’ EP The Meek Are Getting Ready which was released in 2025. Check out the video below.

Interview: ‘Pillion’ director Harry Lighton on kink, bikers, and prosthetics

To say that this interview is NSFW would be an understatement. Then again, that’s inevitable when one sits down to talk with Harry Lighton about his brilliant new film Pillion, a gorgeous tale of first love that engages with kink in a properly explicit fashion well-suited to the subject matter. This isn’t 50 Shades, and would properly horrify the women of Book Club had they chosen Adam Mars-Jones’ Box Hill, upon which the film is based, as their selection that […]

Watch the new lyric video by Crimson Riot!

Today, we are stoked to bring you the premiere of the new lyric video by Las Vegas-based punk rockers Crimson Riot! The song is called “State of Despair” and the video was edited by bassist and vocalist Chris Reject. The video also comes with a viewer discretion warning which reads, ”This video depicts real events that are currently happening in the United States. We feel the world needs to see this, but we understand some images are hard to watch. We do not stand for what this administration is doing to the people of this country and we call on everyone to use your voice and speak up against the injustice caused by this regime.” Speaking about the song, Chris Reject said, “This track was originally scheduled to be our fourth single off ‘Third Time’s A Charm’, but with what is happening in the United States currently, we could not sit by and stay silent. For years, we’ve watched hate and division be celebrated. We watch as citizens’ rights get trampled on by those who are causing the hate and division. We have a voice and we choose to use it. It is no longer about left or right, but about morals and who has them and who doesn’t. We understand that people will hate this and we may lose fans, but at the end of the day, we choose to stand on the right side of history. Our message is clear; we are against sexism, bigotry, racism, and fascism. If you believe in any of these things, we are not the band for you. If you want real change in this country, it starts at home. Stop listening to the RNC or DNC. Corporations should not be running our government. Real change starts when WE THE PEOPLE start running for office. Get the billionaires out of politics. Run for office and win against the corporations called the RNC and the DNC. Real voices from real people will make real changes.” ”State of Despair” is off their upcoming album Third Time’s A Charm which will be out on March 20 via Leg Lamp Records. The song will be available digitally tomorrow. Watch the lyric video for “State of Despair” below!
