With that being said, live comedy may just supply the release you’re looking for, and lucky for you, we’ve got you more than covered. With homegrown talent, national headliners, and open mics galore highlighting the calendar, the plethora of powerful comedy throughout the commonwealth continues to show up, night after […]</p>

Check out the first single from Chilton's new album!

Today, we are pleased to debut the new track by Chilton! New York's Chilton is back with a new self-titled album and the lead single, "Arcturning" is a RIPPER! The track is high powered and fast paced, with some classic melodo-riffage fuleing the engine. As the track tears forward, it spins out of control at points, showing that the band's combustibility is the real deal. All the while, through the booming and shredding and gnashing and noise, the band is singing about… love-dovey stuff… Speaking to Punknews about the track, the band's Josh Carother's said, "When it comes to love, we are conditioned to think another person will complete it. But what we’re looking for in the entire experience is internal: self love, self worth, self reliance. Learn, teach–teach, learn. ALL things are One consciousness reflecting itself back on itself."The new album is out January 12 via Dead Broke and they are playing a show December 16 at 18th Ward Brewing in Brooklyn. You can pre-order the new LP right here and hear the new tune below, right now!

Break-ups: Screaming Females announce end of band

Screaming Females have announced that they will be disbanding. The band released a statement on Instagram that reads, ”After 18 years we have decided that Screaming Females is coming to an end. A lot changed around us over those 18 years but at our core we operated pretty much the same throughout. We funded and made the records we wanted to make. We did our own art. We printed a lot of our own merch. We managed ourselves. Probably most importantly we loaded up our van with our gear and traveled around the world to play shows wherever you would have us. We tried to build and celebrate community the best we could. There are too many people to thank and too many things that should be said but right now we have some leftover merch that we would love to get out of Mike's basement! Order something for you, your friends, your family, your pets!” Screaming Females formed in 2005 and released 8 albums the last of which was this year’s Desire Pathway. See the post in full below.
