The World/Inferno Friendship Society to release Unfinished Works compilation

Today, World/Inferno Friendship Society announced a compilation of unfinished works. The LP includes material recorded circa 1994 and during the sessions for their last two albums. Masterminded by the band co-founder Scott Hollingsworth, the collection finds Hollingsworth taking unfinished recordings from many sessions and adding in the missing parts with new recorded parts, as played by WIFS members.The LP is self-released and is titled Valhalla, Definitely. The release benefits benefit Rock to Recovery, O Positive Music Festival & Medical Clinic, and Tamerlaine Sanctuary & Preserve. (As an aside, what would become this release, was previously announced via kickstarter last year- those pre-orders benefitted Musicares). The album is out tomorrow. Nylon release two new songs

Nylon, made up of Luk Henderiks and Peter Gargano of Teenage Halloween, and Al Iannone and Justin Lombardo of Phantom, have released two new tracks. The songs are called “PC Violence” and “Suspect” and are available digitally now. Nylon released their EP Tang in 2021. Check out the songs below.

IDestroy have released a video for their new song “All My Friends Are Plastic”. The video was created by Sam Kinsella. The song appears to be a standalone single. IDestroy released their album We Are Girls in 2021. Check out the video below.

Jigsaw Youth: "Sit On It"

Jigsaw Youth have released a new song called “Sit On It”. The song appears to be a standalone single and is the third single they’ve released so far this year. Jigsaw Youth released their EP Are You Who You Wanna Be? in 2022. Check out the song below.

Grade 2 release Hellcat single

Grade 2 have released a new song called “Nevada”. The song is part of the Hellcat Records Singles Club. It came out of their recording sessions for their self-titled album and was co-produced by Tim Armstrong and Tj Rivera. Grade 2 released their self-titled album earlier this year. Laura Jane Grace receives Key to the City of Gainesville

In September, it was announced that Laura Jane Grace would be receiving the Key to the City of Gainesville, Florida and she was awarded the Key during a ceremony that took place on October 27. Mayor Harvey Ward also declared October 27 “Laura Jane Grace Day” during the ceremony. In a brief statement posted on Instagram, she said, “Thank you Gainesville. Thank you @thefestfl”. Laura Jane Grace will be touring the US this fall and winter and released her EP At War With The Silverfish in 2021. You can see part of the ceremony below.
