Social Distortion getting ready to hit the studio

After many years of speculation and false starts, Social Distortion frontman recently told L.A. Times that he has begun writing the band’s long-awaited new album, which will be their first since 2011’s Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, and is looking forward to hitting the studio.

Ness didn’t reveal more information about the record, but it is likely that the band is planning to hit the studio right after their upcoming U.S. tour, which begins on the last day of this month and wrap up in April.

We’ll keep you posted as more details on the new Social D record come to light.
