Oregon five piece of bluegrass-folk-punk Larry and His Flask are now returning to Xtra Mile Recordings for a new album in 2019. The quintet is returning after five years after their last release, “By The Lamplight.”

In regards to re-signing with XMR the band says,  ““When we were faced with what company to approach for our new album XMR was our first and only choice. Not to mention they have some of our favourite bands on their label. We are so excited to be part of the XMR family with Frank Turner, Against Me, Skinny Lister and on and on. XMR is a perfect fit for us.”

Folk punk outfit Divided Heaven are now streaming their new album “Cold War.”

As stated previously by Jeff Berman, “Cold War is (and was) meant to be different, all around. It was recorded differently, written differently, and presented differently. It’s less singer-songwriter and more full-band; less a collection of songs and more of a cohesive group of songs. I simply can not waiting for people to hear it and feel it.”

Chicago’s hardcore act Drowning is now streaming their new album “23.”

The beatdown take on hardcore brings ultra groovy and hip hop influences to the table and pushes the boundaries of all their previous releases. The album officially releases today on Fast Break! Records, and is available to buy here.

Pop punk vets Real Friends are now streaming their new full length “Composure.” The guys are currently on Warped Tour to promote the new album, and have already collected a staggering amount of support.

“Composure” serves as follow up to their last release of “The Home Inside My Head” in 2016.

DyingScene is absolutely jazzed to bring you the exclusive premiere of Amuse‘s new album, “Shortcuts.” The Indianapolis trio has delivered a solid tour de (that’s Europeanese for “of”) pop punk that has Mike Felumlee’s beautiful, beautiful hands all over it.

Regarding the album, the band states, “I am not going to say we broke new ground on our new album Shortcuts. What I will say is that is that we managed to make sure each track was it’s own thing. We wanted to keep it interesting and diverse. There is a hint of every era of punk rock and pop punk sprinkled through the album.”

This is it! The moment I finally get to share with you guys the reason why I signed Southern California skate-punk act Chaser to Dying Scene Records. I’m an absolute sucker for 90’s era punk rock, and Chaser’s new album “Sound The Sirens” sits firmly between ‘94 NOFX and ‘95 No Use For A Name. If you dig double-time drums, anthemic choruses, and big, sunny SoCal “whoa-ohs” you’re going to seriously love this release.
