Kepi Ghoulie+Ara and Jay of Slackers, Danbert Nobacon play Clash sets at Summer Soiree 9 in Philly!

GET TICKETS HERE!!! 2026 is the 50th anniversary of The Clash… and that means Summer Soiree 9 is going to be BLACK MARKET CLASH!!! But, this isn't any ol' Clash tribute show, it is a real one-night-only slam banger!!! For this special event, the new band Ghetto Defendant, which is Ara and Jay of The Slackers with Vinnie of Doomstompers, is teaming up with the hero Kepi Ghoulie of Groovie Ghoulies!!! They'll be doing a special, one-time-only, ALL CLASH SET! We have seen the setlist and it is AMAZING! This will be a really special show! But that's not all! Anarcho-punk icon Danbert Nobacon of Chumbawamba is flying out to do his own very special set. For the first time ever, he will be doing Clash acoustic tunes and some Danbert solo stuff… and maybe a Chumbawamba song or two… as you may know, Chumbawamba wrote the first ever Clash dis track ("Garageland" off Bullshit Detector), even though they loved the Clash! So, it will be a real full circle moment! PLUS, the newly reformed Droogettes will be playing hits from the first Clash album (USA and UK)!!! PLUS, The Dracu-Las will be playing the Clash's songs of Hate & War & Love!!! WOW. PLUS, we will have goodie bags, prizes, give aways, and other surprises! Tours: PISS announce spring tour (BC, US, UK, EU)

PISS have announced tour dates for this spring. They will be playing BC, the US, the UK, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The North American leg of the tour begins on March 14 in Vancouver, BC and wraps up on March 28 with their second performance at Treefort Festival in Boise, Idaho. The European leg begins on May 2 in Liverpool and wraps up on May 24 in Nottingham. PISS released their EP three demos in 2024. Check out the dates below.

Tours: Beton Arme announce spring tour (Canada and US)

Beton Arme have announced North American tour dates for this spring. The tour will begin on May 14 in London, Ontario and will wrap up on May 31 in Timmins, Ontario. Beton Arme will be touring North America with Angel Du$t in the spring and released their album Renaissance in 2025. Check out the dates below.

Grade 2 announce new album, share "Standing In The Downpour"

Grade 2 have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Talk About It and will be out on April 3 via Hellcat Records. The album features eleven tracks, including their previously released singles “Cut Throat” and “Hanging Onto You”. The band has also released a video for their new song “Standing In The Downpour” which was created by Jason Link and features live footage by Flo Ehlich. Grade 2 released their self-titled album in 2023. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Ratboys release video for "Penny in the Lake", announce Chicago benefit show

Ratboys have released a video for their new song “Penny in the Lake”. The video was directed by Bobby Butterscotch. The song is off their upcoming album Singin’ to an Empty Chair which will be out on February 6 via New West Records. The band has also announced a show to benefit Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and Albany Park Mutual Aid. The show will take place on February 6 at Beat Kitchen in Chicago. Ratboys touring North America starting later this month and released their album The Window in 2023. Check out the video below.

Koyo to release new album, share "Irreversible" video

Koyo have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Barely Here and will be out on May 8 via Pure Noise Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Irreversible”. Koyo will be touring this winter and spring. The band released their EP Mile A Minute in 2024 and released their album Would You Miss It? in 2023. Check out the video, tracklist, and dates below.

Descendents announce Australia/New Zealand tour

Descendents are headed down under. they'll be in Australia and New Zealand in June and they'll be celebrating 30 years of Everything Sucks. As you may recall, last year, the band hinted at new material, mentioning in a few different interviews that they have dozens of recordings tracked… that need to be finished. You can see the dates below.

Pool Kids record Audiotree Far Out live session

Pool Kids have recorded an Audiotree Far Out live session. The video was filmed at Sidekick’s Entertainment Lounge and Restaurant in Chicago on December 16, 2025 and was directed by Tom Conway. The band performed “Easier Said Than Done” and “Last Word” from their 2025 album Easier Said Than Done. Check out the video below.
