Pitchfork music festival has announced its 2023 lineup. The event is November 7-13 in London. Bands playing include OFF! and Fucked Up (who are doing a club show together), as well as Snooper, Sleater-Kinney, Pearl and the Oysters, and a whole lot more. You can see the lineup below.
Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have released a video for their new song “I Used To Be Fun”. The video was directed, filmed, and edited by Neve Van Boxsel. The song is off their upcoming debut album I Love You which will be out on September 8 via Domestic La La. Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers released their EP Pretty Good For A Girl Band in 2022. Me Rex have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Giant Elk and will be out on October 20 on Big Scary Monsters. The lead single “Eutherians (Ultramarine)” has also been released. Me Rex will be touring the UK this fall and released their EPs Plesiosaur and Pterodactyl in 2022. This year is the 15th anniversary of Fucked Up's The Chemistry of Common Life, the album that moved the band from the punk sphere into wider acclaim. On October 14, 2023, the band will play the Horseshow tavern in Toronto celebrating the occasion. Will the play the entire album in full? Will the re-do the 12 hour concert that launched the album in 2008 (complete with surprise gurst spot from Moby?) You'll have to go to find out.

Mexico-based music festival Off Limits has announced its first wave lineup for this year. Gorilla Biscuits, Get The Shot, War On Women, Candy, Escuela Grind, PEARS, Sudarshana, Flores y Fuego, and Grito will be playing the festival. Off Limits will take place on October 7 at Centro de Convenciones Tlatelolco in Mexico City.
Skinny Lister have released a video for their song “Company Of The Bar”. The video was shot at the Forge and Flagon by The Film Smith. The song is off their upcoming album Shanty Punk which will be out on October 20 via Xtra Mile Recordings.
