The Kills have released two new songs called “New York” and “LA Hex”. These songs mark their first new music in seven years and each have a video which was directed by Andrew Theodore Balasia. The tracks are available via Domino. The Kills released their rarities collection Little Bastards in 2020 and their album Ash and Ice in 2016. Check out the videos below.

The Bronx have announced Australian tour dates for this fall. Civic and ’68 will be joining them on all dates. The shows are a part of their 20th anniversary tour and tickets go on sale July 28. The Bronx will be touring North America with Flogging Molly starting next month and released their album Bronx VI in 2021. Check out the dates below.

Sinéad O’Connor has passed away at the age of 56. Her family announced her passing in a statement that reads, ”It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad. Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.” Sinéad O’Connor released 10 studio albums during her career and was in the process of working on a new album according to a post on Facebook. In 1992, she tore up a picture of Pope John Paul II on SNL during her cover of “War” by Bob Marley’ to protest the rampant child abuse in the Catholic Church. This resulted in her being banned from NBC for life. In 2018, she converted to Islam and changed her name to Shuhada' Davitt but she continued to use the name Sinéad O’Connor professionally. We send our condolences to Sinéad O’Connor’s family, friends, and fans.

Bad Operation have announced that Brittany Luna of Catbite will be singing with the band for two Californian shows this September. The band made this announcement on Instagram in a post that reads in part, “CAT IS OUTTA THE BAG BRITTANY LUNA IS SINGING WITH BAD OP FOR OUR NEXT 2 SHOWS IN CALIFORNIA “.
