Sunglaciers to release new album, share "Eye to Eye" video

Sunglaciers have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Spiritual Content and will be out on March 27 via Mothland. The band has also released a video for their new song “Eye to Eye” which was directed by the band’s Evan Resnik. Sunglaciers released their album Regular Nature in 2024 and will be playing Montreal as part of the Taverne Tour festival in February. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Tours: Joyce Manor release "I Used To Go To This Bar" video, add more US dates to upcoming tour

Joyce Manor have released a video for their new song “I Used To Go To This Bar”. The video was created by Jason Link and features animation by Madeline Babuka Black. The live performance footage was directed by Rowan Daly and Jason Link and was edited by Ben Meredith. The song is off their upcoming album of the same name which will be out on January 30 via Epitaph Records. Joyce Manor has also added a handful of US shows to their upcoming North America tour. The new shows will take place in June, with Hot Mulligan joining them on all dates. Joyce Manor released their album 40 oz. to Fresno in 2022. Check out the video and updated tour dates below.

Festivals & Events: Witch Club Satan, Portrayal of Guilt, Wayfarer, more added to Prepare the Ground 2026

Prepare the Ground has announced the final round of bands for their 2026 festival. William Basinski, Witch Club Satan, Mizmor, Portrayal of Guilt, Wayfarer, Kathryn Mohr, Tribunal, Blood Vulture, Burner, dogwhistle, Lowheaven, and Final Gasp are among the bands added. They join the previously announced lineup which includes And You Will Know Us By the Trail of the Dead, Dear Evangeline, Svalbard, Habak, Oathbreaker, HELL, Blood Ceremony, Amenra, UUGGHH, and Oranssi Pazuzu. Prepare the Ground will take place May 29-31, 2026 across several venues in Toronto, including Trinity St. Paul’s Church, Lee’s Palace, The Cave, and Transac. Check out the full lineup below.

Stoopfest has announced more bands for this year’s festival. Action/Adventure, Destroyer, Mal Blum, Blvck Hippie, Devon Kay and the Solutions, Kali Masi, Oceanator, Sad Snack, Pictoria Vark, Thanks! I Hate It, Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra, Zora, and Danger Cat (playing their final show) are among the artists announced. These artists join the previously announced lineup which includes The Hotelier (Christian Holden solo), Pinkshift, JER, Friends In Real Life, Gully Boys, Laura Stevenson, Open Mike Eagle, Pigeon Pit, Rent Strike, Doom Scroll, Hit Like A Girl, Pacing, and Ratwyfe. In Memoriam: Sly Dunbar has passed away

Sadly, reggae icon Sly Dunbar passed away. he was 73. As you likely know, Dunbar was part of the rhythm section Sly and Robbie (with Robbie Shakespeare) and recorded tens of thousands of reggae tracks, including some of the most iconic reggae songs ever. Sly recorded with hundreds of artists, including Black Uhuru, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Grace Jones, Dennis Brown, Yellowman, Bob Marley, Lee Scracth Perry, Junior Murvin, No Doubt, Mikey Dread, KRS-One, and many, many more.
