Today we are excited to bring you the premiere of the new video by Toronto-based rock duo Queens & Kings! The video is for their new song “Earthquake” and was shot at two abandoned locations, one of which is no longer standing. The footage from the first location was filmed by Jesse Read of Dropout Entertainment and the footage from the second location was filmed by the band. Speaking about the song and video, Alissa Klug said, “ I wanted a song where I could just go wild, singing up front without playing anything, so we came to this solution, and it worked out beautifully and Brendan mastered playing both instruments at once quite quickly too! And I don’t abandon my kit completely—I still get in some exclamatory crash hits in the choruses and we join forces on a joint drum solo towards the end. It's always fun to play it live! We wanted to film in a location that reflected what the song is about, which is really just about standing up for yourself. You can be shaken, and life can take a toll, but in the end, you're still left standing and what is left will be stronger.”Queens & Kings will be releasing an album later this year called Take Your Throne and you can catch them live on May 6 at the Bovine Sex Club in Toronto for their single release party. Integrity have released a new Misfits cover. This time they tackle "Skulls." The recording was originally released as a limited flexi-single as part of the band's annual Halloween fan package. Integ frontman Dwid Hellion is a big Danzig fan and has a history of covering the evil crooner. Integrity has previously covered Misfits' "Hybrid Moments" and Hellion's Vermapyre project covered Samhain's "to walk the night." You can hear the digital version below.

UK-based queercore duo Death Goals are just one day away from releasing their incredible second album A Garden of Dead Flowers. The duo, made up of guitarist Harry Bailey and drummer George “Grog” Milner, share vocal duties as they unleash gloriously chaotic hardcore which takes cues from black metal, sludge, metalcore, pop, and powerviolence. Over the course of eleven tracks, they tackle the joy of queerness and self-acceptance along with the struggle that comes with that as well as talking about dysphoria, addiction, mental health, and lost love with poetic, image-laden lyrics. A Garden of Dead Flowers will be out everywhere on May 5 via Prosthetic Records and Death Goals will be kicking off their UK tour with Vicarage tomorrow night at their album release show at the New Cross Inn in London. Punknews editor Em Moore caught up with Harry over Zoom to talk about the new album, the importance of visuals, the connection between hardcore music and queerness, cereal, and so much more. Pinch Points have released a new song. It is called “Pave Me” and appears as a bonus track on their reissue of their 2018 debut EP Mechanical Injury which is out digitally now and will be available physically on June 7. Pinch Points released their album Process in 2022. Check out the song below.

Mickey Leigh has released the details about this year installment of the Joey Ramone birthday bash. Andy Shernoff of Dictators and Dez Cadena of Black Flag will perform along with Mutated Music, Sick Fucks, Jiro, Hyperdolls, and others. There is also a surprise headlining act. Ramones tour Manager Monte Melnick will M.C. The show is May 19 at Bowery Electric.

Bush Tetras have announced that they will be releasing their first album in 11 years. It is called They Live In My Head and will be out on July 28 via Wharf Cat. The group’s original drummer Dee Pop passed away in 2021 and Steve Shelley of Sonic Youth played drums on the record as well as producing it. The band has also released their first single from the record called “Things I Put Together”. Bush Tetras released their EP Take The Fall in 2018 and their box set Rhythm and Paranoia: The Best of Bush Tetras in 2021. Check out the song and tracklist below.

The Dead Milkmen have announced a show, which appears to be a record release show for their upcoming album – Quaker City Quiet Pills, out June 9. The show is July 7 at Laurel Hill Cemetary in Philadelphia. The band has played there a few times before. Tickets are on sale now… at the Cemetary's website.
