Peaches has released a video for “No Lube So Rude”. The video was filmed at Queer Wagen Collective in Berlin, Germany and was directed by Matt Lambert. The song is off Peaches’ upcoming album of the same name which will be out February 20 via Kill Rock Stars. Peaches will be touring the US and Canada starting in February and her most recent full-length album was 2015’s Rub. Check out the video below.
Hit Like A Girl have released a video for their new song “Only Have Myself”. The video was shot and edited by Aaron Pappalardo. The song is off their upcoming album Burning At Both Ends which will be out on March 27 via Cryptid Records. Hit Like A Girl will be playing Stoopfest in Michigan and Pouzza Fest in Montreal in May. Tanya Tagaq has announced that she will be releasing a new album. It is called Saputjiji and will be out on March 6 via Six Shooter Records. Along with the album, Tanya Tagaq will be launching a stage production called Split Tooth: Saputjiji that is based on her 2018 book Split Tooth and will feature songs from the upcoming album. That will be directed by Kaneza Schaal. The first single from the album has also been released. It is called “Foxtrot” and features guest vocals from Damian Abraham of Fucked Up. Tanya Tagaq released Tongues in 2022. Check out the song and tracklist below.
Mosswood Meltdown has announced its main lineup. The annual Oakland event runs July 17 to 20. The pre-show features Pavement, Wednesday, and Vivian Girls. Sunday is headlined by Bikini Kill and also includes The Return of Jackie and Judy (Sleater Kinner with Fred Armisen playing all Ramones), The Dead Milkmen and more.
