Festivals & Events: Beer Can'd Festival announces lineup

Illinois-based Beer Can’d Festival has announced its lineup for this year. Much The Same, Take The Reins, Capgun Heroes, Won’t Stay Dead, Billy Batts and the Made Men, Space Age Zeros, Fighting for Scraps, Substitute Substitute, On The Cinder, Goodbye Sunshine, The Operators, The Decayed, Clear Coat, Pact Goons, James the Boneboyy and DJ Ivanna Riot will be playing the festival. Beer Can’d Festival will take place April 29 at Blue Island Beer Company in Blue Island, Illinois.

The Acacia Strain announce new album, release "Fresh Bones"

The Acacia Strain have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Step Into The Light and will be out May 12 via Rise Records. The band has also released a new song called “Fresh Bones”. The Acacia Strain released their album Slow Decay in 2020. Check out the video below.

Record Store Day has released the 2023 list. Among the selections this year are a number of punk records, including a 20thn anniversary edition of Joe Strummer and The MescalerosStreetcore, a previously unreleased mix of RamonesPleasant Dreams, a new EP by OFF!, some adicts reissues, an expanded ediiton of the first Tom tom Club album, Pogues, Madness, Generation X and more. Tours: Botch announce US tour

Botch have announced US tour dates for this fall and winter. These dates join their three previously announced Washington shows which take place this month. Tickets for the new dates go on sale on February 17, Botch released their first new song in over 20 years, “One Twenty Two”, in 2022 last year along with a reissue of We Are The Romans. The band will be reissuing American Nervoso for its 25th anniversary and that will be out on March 24. Check out the dates below.
