Black Friday Record Store Day 2022 list released

Record Store Day have published their list for their Black Friday event. It will take place November 25, 2022 at participating independent record stores. Releases from David Bowie, Goldfinger, The Gun Club, Iggy Pop, Motorhead, Run The Jewels, Masked Intruder, Joe Strummer, and many more are on the list. Check out the list in full right here.

Dropkick Murphys have released a video for their new song "All You Fonies". The video was directed by Dave Stauble and edited by Shawn Howard. The song is off their upcoming album This Machine Still Kills Fascists out September 30. Dropkick Murphys will be touring Europe in 2023 (Pennywise, The Rumjacks, and Jesse Ahern have been added to all of these dates) and released their album Turn Up That Dial in 2021. The Black Dahlia Murder announce new lineup & Trevor Strnad memorial show

The Black Dahlia Murder has announced that they will continue as a band following the death of founding member and lead vocalist Trevor Strnad earlier this year. This was announced in an interview with Decibel Magazine earlier today. Brian Eschbach, founding member and guitarist, will be the lead vocalist and Ryan Knight, who played with the band from 2008 to 2016, will rejoin the band as their guitarist. They will be playing a show on October 28 at Saint Andrew's Hall in Detroit, Michigan with Darkest Hour and Plague Years The show is billed as "a celebration of the life and legacy of Trevor Scott Strnad". Tickets go on sale Friday, September 16.

Gatherers announce new album, release new single with Geoff Rickly of Thursday

New Jersey based melodic hardcore band Gatherers have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called ( mutilator. ) and will be out November 18 via No Sleep Records. The band have also released a video for their new single "gift horse" that features vocals from Geoff Rickly of Thursday. Gatherers released their album We Are Alive Beyond Repair in 2018.
