Videos: The Bloody Hell: "Are You Happy?"

The Bloody Hell have released a video for their new song “Are You Happy?” The video features footage by Josh Edmonds, Brad Stevens, Open Path Films, Michael Ainslie, HM Chap, Matt Relf, and Hfx Visuals. It was edited by Ian Kean. The song is off their upcoming album Blood Code which will be out in the fall. The Bloody Hell released their album Nobody Cares in 2022. Check out the video below.

Tours: The OBGMs announce US tour

The OBGMs have announced US tour dates for this fall. The band will begin their tour on November 16 in Atlanta, Georgia and will wrap up this run on November 22 in Somerville, Massachusetts. The OBGMs released their album SORRY, IT’S OVER in 2024 and it was recently short-listed for the Polaris Music Prize. The band will also be playing FME in August in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. Spirit Desire release two new songs

Toronto-based Spirit Desire have released two new songs. They are called “Borrowed Time” and “Poison Sting” and are available digitally now. The songs are also available on 7-inch vinyl which is expected to ship in early October via Maraming Records. The tracks were recorded, mixed, and mastered by Vince Soliveri at Boxcar Sound. Spirit Desire released their EP Pets earlier this year and released their album No One Makes Me Laugh as Hard as You in 2022. Check out the songs below.

Tours: Jetsam announce Ontario and Quebec tour

Jetsam have announced tour dates for Ontario and Quebec. These shows will take place in August and will kick off on August 8 in Montreal, Quebec. The tour will wrap up on August 24 in Ottawa, Ontario. Jetsam released their split with Gummo, Assimilation is Death, in 2023 and released their debut EP Powerviolence is for Lovers in 2022. Automatic to release new album, share "Mercury" video

Los Angeles-based Automatic have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Is It Now? and will be out on September 26 via Stones Throw. The band has also released a visualizer for their new song “Mercury” which was directed by Sira Sounds. Automatic released their album Excess in 2022. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Pacing: "Things we bought tickets for" (ft. Career Woman)

Pacing has released a video for “Things we bought tickets for” which features Career Woman. The video is made up of behind-the-scenes footage of the recording of the track which was recorded at District Recording in San Jose. Studio cats Frida and Ankle get special shoutouts. The song is off Pacing’s album Pl*net F*tness which is out everywhere now via Asian Man Records. We talked to Katie about the album last week and you can read that interview right here. Street Eaters announce new album, share "Tempers" video

Oakland-based post-punks Street Eaters have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Opaque and will be out on September 5 via Dirt Cult Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Tempers” which was filmed by Krista Wright and edited by Theo Garvey. Street Eaters released their EP Simple Distractions in 2021 and released their album The Envoy in 2017. Check out the video and tracklist below.
