Ken Susi details why he quit As I Lay Dying

As you likely know, a number of years ago, As i Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis went to jail for crimes involving him trying to put a hit on Meggan, the woman who was his wife, at the time. They got divorced, obviously. Lambesis got out a few years ago and re-started the band. Late last year, the band imploded again with all the members quitting the band except Lambesis. The band members cited issues with Lambesis' behavior, but were vague. Following that, Lambesis went on a podcast and claimed that he was abused by Dany, his new wife. Dany denied those claims and said Lambesis was abusive towards her.Guitarist Ken Susi recently went on the Brewtally Speaking podcast and detailed what led him to quitting the band. Kaonashi to release new album, share "When I Say" video

Kaonashi have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called I Want To Go Home and will be out on June 6 via Equal Vision Records. The album features 13 tracks including “J.A.M.I.E.” which features a guest spot from Anthony Green and their previously released songs “Confusion in a Car Crash” and “Fairmount Park After Dark”. The band has also released a video for their new song “When I Say” which was directed by Vic Antonio. Kaonashi released their two EPs A Second Chance At Forever: The Brilliant Lies From Casey Diamond and The 3 Faces of Beauty: A Violence Misinterpretation of Morgan Montgomery. Sutras: "Bloom Watch"

Sutras have released a new song. It is called “Bloom Watch” and is off their upcoming record The Crisis of Existence which will be out on April 16 via Tomb Tree. Sutras released their EP Awakening of the Spirit in 2024. Check out the song below.

Streetlight Manifesto have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called The Place Behind The Stars and will be out on June 24 via Pentimento Music Co. This will mark their first new album in 12 years. Streetlight Manifesto released their album The Hands That Thieve in 2013. Check out the announcement below.

Jillian Shriner, wife of Weezer bassist, shot by police, arrested on attempted murder

On Tuesday afternoon, Jillian Shriner, an author and the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, was involved in an altercation. details are still developing, but Shriner was shot by the police in LA and then arrested on attempted murder. The police were tracking a suspect in an unrelated hit-and-run matter. As per a LA police press release, during that search, they observed a woman in a “neighboring residence armed with a handgun. The officers ordered Shriner to drop the handgun numerous times; however, she refused. Shriner then pointed the handgun at the officers, and an Officer-Involved Shooting occurred. Shriner was struck by gunfire and fled into her residence. She later exited and was taken into custody.”Shriner was released Wednesday after posting a $1 million bond, according to publicly available records. She is due in court on April 30.
