Sound and Fury Fest has added a handful more bands to this year’s lineup. Balmora, Death Lens, Glare, Pest Control, Poison the Well, and Scowl will now be playing the festival. They join the previously announced lineup which includes Basement, Cloakroom, Mindforce, Kruelty, Knocked Loose, Pain of Truth, and Lagrimas. Sound and Fury Fest will take place on July 12-13 at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, California.

Madrid-based post-hardcore band Boneflower have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Reveries and will be out on July 25 via Deathwish Inc. The band has also released a video for their new song “Pomegranate” which features Jeremy Bolm of Touché Amoré on guest vocals. The video was shot and edited by Jaime Diaz de Teusta and features live footage shot by Mikel Rojo and Will Vila. Boneflower released their EP Dolor/ 遠来 in 2021. The Last Mile have announced European tour dates for this summer. The tour will begin on June 4 with a performance at Temple Fest in France and will wrap up on June 20 at Alter in Mannheim, Germany. The Last Mile released their album Holding On To Hope earlier this year. Check out the dates below.

PEI-based hardcore punk festival Secret Trash Fest has announced its lineup for this year. Science Man, Total Nada, UZU, Mutated Void, Recall, Mutation, Teleri, Uncle, Cell Deth, Piercing Damage, Cherry Plaza, Kratom, Girls Night, Dazey, and Firing Squad will be playing. Secret Trash Fest will take place on August 23 at PEI Farm Centre and Sportsman’s in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

Salem, Massachusetts-based emo rockers Hyber have released a video for their new song “Waiting For Your Call”. The video was created by Ricky Butt. The song is available digitally now along with a chiptune remix. Hyber released their EP All The Things It Hurt To Know in 2024. Check out the video and chiptune version below.

Signals Midwest have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Layovers and will be out on July 25 via Lauren Records. The album is made up of unreleased tracks, alternate takes, B-sides, and covers from the course of their 20-years together. The band has also released the album’s lead single “Two Magnets”. The first appearance of this song was on frontman Maxwell Stern’s 2024 solo album In The Good Light. Signals Midwest released their album DENT in 2022. Check out the song and tracklist below.

Sarah Register, who currently performs with Kim Gordon and co-founded Talk Normal, has released a video for her song “Does It Hurt”. The dancing and choreography were done by Sarah Register and Amy Rose Khoshbin. The video was edited by Gates Bradley and features additional footage and editing by Azul Nino.
