Emma Ruth Rundle to release book of poetry

Emma Ruth Rundle has announced that she will be releasing a book of poetry. It is called The Bella Vista and will be out on February 11, 2025 via Unnamed Press. A limited edition album made up of Harold Budd-inspired piano tracks will be released along with the book. Emma Ruth Rundle will be touring the US starting in October. Emma Ruth Rundle released Orpheus Looking Back and EG2: Dowsing Voice in 2022.

Ben Quad to release new EP, share "Your Face as an Effigy" video

Ben Quad have announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Ephemera and will be out on October 25 via Pure Noise Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Your Face as an Effigy” which was directed by Alex Scalzo. Ben Quad will be touring the US with Prince Daddy and The Hyena in October and released their album I’m Scared That’s All There Is in 2022. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Victime release new song "Resonne encore”, announce album release show

Quebec-based new wave trio Victime have released a new song called “Resonne encore”. It is off their upcoming album En conversation avec which will be out on October 25 via Mothland. Victime will be playing their album launch show as a double-header with Yoo Doo Right on December 6 at Theatre Plaza in Montreal, Quebec. We Owe will be joining them for their first live show. Victime released their album Mi-Tronc, mi-jambe in 2019. Check out the song below.

Jimmy Eat World to stream 'Futures' 20th anniversary show

Jimmy Eat World have announced that they will be live-streaming their hometown show celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Futures. The show will take place on October 17 at the Van Burn in Phoenix, Arizona, and will be live-streamed the same day on the Veeps platform at 11 pm ET. The stream will be available for 72 hours following recording. Jimmy Eat World will be touring Europe and the UK in November. The band released Surviving in 2019.
