When you think of a quintessential Hardcore label, it is hard not to think of Bridge Nine Records out in Massachusetts and you think of its founder/owner Chris Wrenn being the guy behind all of this. They have been pressing releases from some of our favorite bands since 1995 and have been on top of the game in branding for years with its sister company Sully’s for Massachusetts specific wear. Wrenn has written a book titled Fenway Punk, which chronicles the creation of the record label tied to the love of Boston baseball. Punknews Contributing Editor Samantha Barrett sat down with Wrenn to discuss the label, some baseball and the new book.
