ADULT. are acutely aware ‘No One is Coming’ to our rescue

Life seemed so quaint two-plus decades ago when we were all dancing hard to “Hand To Phone” and “Nausea” at dance parties like Start in Boston, but time moves with a cruel hand and the dystopian disco has become more noontime reality than midnight fantasy. ADULT. have always seemed poised to soundtrack the bleakness of the coming gray era, and so it’s fitting that a young 2026 finds the Detroit synth-punk powderkeg warning us that, nah, “No One is Coming” […]

Billy Bragg: "City of Heroes"

Billy Bragg has released a new song called “City Of Heroes”. A description released alongside the song reads, ”The murder of Alex Pretti was horrifically shocking, all the more so as we are still reeling from the images of the murder of Renee Good. That these crimes can be committed in broad daylight, on camera and yet no one is held accountable only adds to the injustice. I wrote this song yesterday as a tribute to the bravery of the people of Minneapolis who, knowing that these trigger happy ICE thugs operate with seeming impunity in their midst, are still willing to put themselves in harms way to defend their community. Their resistance is an inspiration to us all.” Billy Bragg released two songs in 2025 and released his most recent album The Million Things That Never Happened in 2021. Check out the song below.

Thee Parkside says the end is near

Sadly, famous San Francisco independent venue Thee Parkside has stated that the end is near. The venue stated that live music will end in March and the venue will remain as a bar for a few more months before shutting down. The statement comes as little surprise- a few months ago, following the passing of the land's owner, the venue stated that the new owner likely would substantially change the area and likely not renew the venue lease. Thee Parkside is expected to be converted into condos. This follows news from a few weeks ago that sister venue, Bottom of the Hill, which is mere yards away on the same street, is also closing down later this year. You can see Thee Parkside's post below.

NOFX: "Minnesota Nazis"

NOFX have released a new version of their song “Huntington Beach Nazis”. The song is called “Minnesota Nazis” and features new lyrics that reference the killing of Renee Good by ICE. Fat Mike released a statement talking about the song on Instagram which reads, ”I wrote a song called “Huntington Beach Nazis” in 2022 when I spent 6 sober weeks there. There’s actually an intersection of Rhein and Heil streets. Kinda weird…. anyway, after all the recent heartbreaks in Minnesota, I decided to change some lyrics in the song and release it digitally. I even changed the title of the song to “Minnesota Nazis”. I reckon it’s appropriate. This song isn’t gonna stop the absolute madness…. but you do what you can to make this world a better place. Let’s look out for each other the best we can. Love > Hate….. even though it doesn’t seem like it right now…. -” Check out the song below.
