Saetia has released a new song. It is called “Three Faces Past” and is off their upcoming EP Tendrils which will be out on April 25. Saetia released their live album Live From Saint Vitus Bar in 2023 and released Collected in 2016. Check out the song below.

Cloakroom have released a video for their new song “Story of the Egg”. The video features illustrations by Bill Connors and animation by the band as well as Documavision. The song is off their upcoming album Last Leg of The Human Table which will be out on February 28 via Closed Casket Activities. Quite sadly, David Johansen of The New York Dolls announced today that he has stage four cancer- a brain tumor. He added that he has actually had the disease for almost a decade. To make things worse, David took a fall on the day after Thanksgiving and broke his back in two places, which required surgery. Despite a successful procedure, David is completely bedridden and incapacitated, relying on around the clock care. David is currently on around the clock care and is hoping to regain some mobility. Cincinnati-based punk rockers The Ophelias have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Spring Grove and was produced by Julien Baker. The album will be out on April 4 via Get Better Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Cumulonimbus” which was directed by Jo Shaffer and Spencer Peppet. The Ophelias will be touring North America starting in April and released their EP Ribbon in 2024. Check out the video, tracklist, and dates below.

The spiraling downfall of Kanye West continues. Though he has been behaving erratically for at least five years, recently, his behavior has become even more strange. He recently appeared at the Grammys with his wife, Bianca Censori, wherein Censori was wearing a see-through slip and was essentially nude (while Kanye was fully dressed). Over the next week, he then posted a number of anti-semetic messages on his twiteer, along with other ramblings, including a post in support of P. Diddy, who is in jail over allegations of sexual misconduct. He stated, in part, “IM A NAZI. I LOVE HITLER NOW WHAT BITCHES.” In another all-caps missive, he added: “SOME OF MY BEST FRIENDS ARE JEWISH AND I DONT TRUST ANY OF THEM.” Last night, during the superbowl, Kanye ran a home made commercial where he was sitting in his dentist's office with weird fake teeth, and he simply asked fans to visit his website. He then insulted Taylor swift on twitter and then claimed to log out of the system forever. (some reports state that he was actually banned from the platform). Then, around midnight, his website offered a single product for sale- a white shirt with a swastika on it. The product name is "HH-01." You can probably figure out what that means. Teen Mortgage has announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Devil Ultrasonic Dream and will be out on April 11 via Roadrunner Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Box” which was created by Lilfuchs Fuchs. Teen Mortgage released their self-titled record in 2024. Check out the video below.
