Spiral XP to release debut album, share "Luna" video

Seattle-based Spiral XP have announced that they will be releasing their debut album. It is called I Wish I Was A Rat and will be out on October 18 via Danger Collective Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Luna” which was directed by guitarist Jordan Mang and lead singer Max Keyes. Spiral XP released their EP with TV Star earlier this year and released their EP It’s Been a While in 2023. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Less Than Jake: "Walking Pipebomb"

Less Than Jake have released a new song called “Walking Pipebomb”. The song is available digitally via Pure Noise Records and is also available on 7-inch vinyl along with their previously released single “Broken Words”. Less Than Jake are currently touring Europe and will be touring the US in the fall. The band released Silver Linings in 2020. Check out the song below.

Downhaul to release new album, release "Solstice"

Richmond-based Downhaul have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called How to Begin and will be out on September 20 via Self Aware Records and Landland Colportage. The band has also released a new song called “Solstice”. Downhaul released their EP Squall in 2023 and their album Proof in 2021. Check out the song and tracklist below.

Bent Knee have released a lyric video for their new song “Never Coming Home”. The video was animated by Scott Siskind. The song is off their upcoming album Twenty Pills Without Water which will be out on August 30 via Take This To Heart Records. Bent Knee released their album Frosting in 2021. High Vis to release new album, share "Mind's A Lie" video

High Vis have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Guided Tour and will be out on October 18 via Dais Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Mind’s a Lie” which was directed by Martina Pastori. High Vis will be touring North America with Show Me The Body starting in September and touring Europe and the UK this fall and winter. The band released their album Blending in 2022. Effigies to release final album with John Kezdy

The Effigieswill release their first album in 17 years. It's also the final album with John Kezdy who was tragically killed in a bike accident in 2023. The record is called Burned and it's out October 25 via BFD/The Orchard. The album includes Kezdy, original bassist Paul Zamost, original drummer Steve Economou, guitarist Andy Gerber (who also produced the album) and Keith Shigeta. You can hear the lead single below.The band will also re-release For Ever Grounded in celebration of that record's 40th anniversary.The new version is remixed and remastered and is out November 22 via BFD/Orchard.

Chubby and The Gang: "There’s A Devil In The Jukebox”

Chubby and The Gang have released a new song. It is called “There’s A Devil In The Jukebox” and is off their upcoming album And Then There Was… which will be out on October 4 via Flatspot Records. Chubby and The Gang will be touring Europe and the UK starting in November and released The Mutt’s Nuts in 2021. Check out the song below.
